Nick craned his neck to try to see every corner of the room. “Is your toilet in a separate room?”

The things humans focused on at times was utterly baffling. “I wasn't going to have one installed, because I've no need of one, but Ivan reassured me that humans would expect one installed and the lack wouldn't be good at all for potential resale value. It's just beyond the bend in the wall over there. That way I'm not obligated to see it.”
